Things 7 and 8

IM in a large library seems to have a place, Im not sure if it is necessary for smaller libraries.
Email is the easiest way to get messages to all the staff.
Text messaging is way beyond me. I do not think I could move my fingers fast enough. My granddaughter does it all the time, and I get dizzy just watching her fingers move. And I tried to read what she's received, I don't understand the lingo...It is sure a fast way to receive messages.
Wedinar does seem like a good idea. Being able to give a presention to a large number of people who are in different areas at the same time sounds good to me.
By going to Share or Article Tools would give easy access to the new media that one wants to find, it would save alot of time.

Thing 5 and 6

Flickr was fun. I tried to spell "learn" and hit the r twice so it became learrn. When I went to post it, it turned out to be learr.. Sharon helped me and tried to get rid of the r, but it stayed there and I do not know where the n went. I may have to ask Dan the Man how to get rid of the r and add the n back......
The guitar puzzle went well.
I think 4, 5, and 6 are more for playing around than a learning tool at the library.

I could not find what picture I wanted to put on, nothing hit my fancy, so after numerous ideas and nothing was good enough, I realized I am as stuborn as a goat. I like my goat. Ok it is not my goat. It is a White Mountain Goat Against a Blue Sky taken by Sandra Heidholdt. And I like it..

THING TWO

TECHNOLGY IS HERE. I AM TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THE CHANGES, VERY RELUCTANTLY, BUT TRYING. I AM TRYING TO LOOK AT TECHNOLGY AS A POSITIVE. I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT LIKE TO TOUCH, SMELL, SEE AND FEEL BOOKS. I FEEL THE INTERNET MAY TAKE THAT AWAY. I DO NOT WANT TO SIT BEHIND A COMPUTER AND READ A BOOK. I WANT IT IN MY HANDS. I DO NOT WANT TO CONTACT PEOPLE VIA EMAIL OR TEXTING, I WANT TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH PEOPLE.
I CANNOT CHANGE THE WORLD AND HOW TECHOLOGY IS CHANGING IT. I WONDER WHERE I WILL FIT IN AND HOW MANY OTHERS ARE FEELING THE SAME.
